    Map Engine automatically suggests your timeline resolution. But if you want to use a custom resolution, you can enter it here.

    After checkout, the receipt containing your license code is sent to your E-Mail. 

    There is a link to download Map Engine and an installation guide.

    Unzip the downloaded content.

    Open the installation guide and follow the instructions. When using DaVinci Resolve and Fusion Studio, you’ll need to place Map Engine in two folders.

    Then enter your license data to activate Map Engine.

    Watch this tutorial if you are stuck during your first steps.

    No. By purchasing Map Engine you acquire a perpetual license to the current version and minor Updates. An eventual Map Engine 2 will not be included, however, your license will still work for the latest Update of the Version you bought.

    Map Engine comes with four pre-linked Map Styles. But it is important to understand, that Map Engine only bridges the gap between external Map Tile Servers and Fusion.

    External Services like MapBox, StadiaMaps or MapTiler are needed to add additional Styles. Most of them come with a generous free Tier.

    Please always provide attribution to the provider!

    As easy as it can be. But let me be honest here: Fusion knowledge is mandatory to get the best results.

    • Add Custom Map Styles using Carto-Links.
    • Import real geographic data through GeoJSON to visualize countries, regions, or custom areas as vector shapes.
    • Create detailed Map Routes between to locations.
    • Create smooth, professional animations with built-in camera smoothing.

     

    Compatible with DaVinci Resolve 18.6+ and Fusion Studio. Compatible with the free version of DaVinci Resolve from 18.6 to 19.0.3. Requires internet connection for tile downloads and license verification. Perpetual License for current Map Engine version and minor updates. Two activations per license. Base Map Styles are for reference only. Attribution required.
